Strictly no alcohol. No pets. Event will go on rain or shine!

What's included with your entry:

All entries include 1 Vehicle and 1 Driver into the event of your choice.


Admissible Behaviour

Alcohol, drugs, weapons and other illegal materials are not permitted at the venue. Cars will be searched upon entry and anything found will be confiscated. At no time during the show will any competitor be allowed to start their engine; doing so will result in immediate ejection from event and fines. Any skid marks, and or damage to the grounds as a result of your miss conduct will be billed to you directly.


Liability

4 & Rotary Promotions 2006 LTD shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to any property.
All competitors are required to lock their vehicles and keep their belongings safe.


Amendments

4 & Rotary Promotions shall have the authority to enforce all terms, rules and regulations as well as any other stipulations necessary for proper conduct of the show. All competitors agree to comply with such terms, rules, regulations, all pertinent laws, and codes.


Promotional Materials

Flyers, business cards and any other printed materials are not permitted in the venue for distribution unless a exhibitor site has been purchased or otherwise
authorized by 4 & Rotary Promotions. If caught, material will be taken away and you will be subject to disqualification and fines.


Sale Of Merchandise

Sale of merchandise is NOT permitted at any time unless you have purchased an exhibitor site.

ALL COMPETITORS MUST BE IN THE VENUE BY 10AM - NO EXCUSES WITH NO REFUNDS 

  • Competitors out of Auckland are welcome to enter Meremere Dragway from 6pm on Saturday. Overnight camping facilities are available in the Vintage Speedway paddock only.

  • You are not able to use any concreted pad or pit bay, as these are privately owned. Any cars parked there will be towed away.

  • Lights – Power – Engine will need to be turned off by 10.45pm and any one making noise after this time will be asked to leave. THIS IS STRICKLY ENFORCED

  •  ALL CAMPERS WILL NEED TO PACK UP THEIR TENTS AND READY FOR RACING BY 7am SHARP.

  • Once passed the highway entry, you will then proceed to the Drag way gate; you will follow through and park up at registration lane. You will then be given your necessary passes to allow you entry.

  • Only Competitors will be allowed access into the pits including all extra paid passengers in the vehicle. The driver is responsible for their passengers; there will be no toleration with bad behavior.

  • All extra crew members’ vehicles will be required to park in the general car park.


DUE TO HIGH RACER NUMBERS THERE IS NO CREW CAR PARKING IN THE PITS. THIS IS STRICTLY ENFORCED. IF YOU ARE BRINGNG TOOLS/RIMS, THEY ARE TO BE TRANSFERRED TO THE RACING VEHICLE PRE-ENTERING THE PITS.

  • DRAG COMPETITORS MUST RACE OR THEY WILL BE TOWED OUT OF THE PIT AREA. 

  • All tow vehicles/campervans must be parked in the ALLOCATED TRAILER AREA at the far end of the pits once race cars/equipment has been unloaded.

 

SCRUTINEERING

Scrutineering will take place on
Sunday 3 March - 7am to 9am

REMEMBER – your car must have a CURRENT REGO/WOF or TECH INSPECTION CERT to be eligible to race. Scrutineers have the final say as to whether your car is safe to race. Drivers must have a current driver’s license and be able to produce this.

You must produce your helmet, and have the tires you are racing on fitted to the vehicle.

Competition vehicles must meet applicable safety standards.

FOR ALL ROTARY POWERED CAR OWNERS – Your rotor MUST have an approved SCATTER SHEILD/BLANKET to be eligible to race.

Safety Check

Every vehicle has to complete a basic Safety Check before you are allowed out on the track. This is for your safety, and the safety of those around you on the track. Once your car has passed, you’ll receive your vehicle registration number/stickers/Wristband and you will have access to the track.

Here is a basic checklist that will be checked for upon entry.

All Vehicles:

  • Brake Lights
  • Indicators (Not required for competition cars)
  • Legal thread on the tyres
  • Battery Clamps
  • Fuel Leaks
  • Oil Leaks
  • Wheel Nuts secured
  • Seat belts (A seatbelt is required for all drivers and passengers out on the track. Even the vehicles from the factory without a seat belt, it should have one installed).
  • Firewall
  • Structural Damage
  • Door Cards
  • No exhaust/wastegates out bonnet

Race Cars:

  • Race suit
  • Approved helmet and footwear
  • Neck brace
  • Roll cages

Rotaries:

  • While we do recommend you run a Scatter Blanket for all events, it's done at your own risk if you choose not to.

All cars with a modified engine must have an overflow bottle and oil catch can if one isn't already fitted.

Change of Driver/Vehicle/Refunds

  • If you need to change the Driver or vehicle for any reason, you may do so by replying to your confirmed Competitor Email. A $30 admin fee will occur to change these details.

  • If you can no longer make it to the event, we might be able to do a refund minus the $30 admin fee if it is 7 days before the event. Alternatively, we might be able to transfer your entry to another event. Please reply back to the confirmed competitor email along with the reason and the account details.

  • Confirmed competitor entries cannot be sold or transferred to anyone else. This referes to all our events.
