We only accept Credit Card payments. You can use a friends or a parents as long as you have there permission or you could go down to your local NZ Post shop and get a loaded prepaid credit card, or most banks now have updated the standard the eftpos card to a Visa debt card.
Once you have submitted your online entry, you will then receive a system acceptance message (this is not a confirmation of entry), once your entry has been accepted and payment processed only then will a confirmation letter stating where and when you need to be at before the event will be emailed out. The letter will also give you all information about passes and registration.
LATE ENTRY: If you wish to enter after the 20th February 2012 then your entry will be classed as a "LATE ENTRY" and incur a $30 non refundable late entry fee.
COMPETITORS – Setup day
This is for all vehicles at show including lowrider and minitrucks.
Please enter the venue through ENTRY A and drive around to the designated area. All trailered vehicles will need to unload at unloading point before parking up at allocated area. This is to ensure that we don’t have trailers parked around the show.
At the gate you will be given:
• EVENT DAY PASS
• A REGISTRATION NUMBER STICKER - This must be placed on your windscreen in plain view.
• A EVENT WRISTBAND - You must wear your wristband and present your validated Event Day Pass to gain entry to the event (no wristband and no pass means no entry – you must keep both on you until after the event.)
DO NOT BRING ALCOHOL - IF YOU ARE SEEN DRINKING YOU WILL BE REMOVED
Gates will close strictly at 8.30 am for competitor entry, at which time security guards will arm the venue and patrol both inside and outside. Our Security team is strict and are told not to allow leeway, as I we want to ensure that all the cars are safe in our care. You need to be at the venue by then or you will lose your entry fee.
The show will conclude at 6.15 pm on Sunday at which point all vehicles must be vacated from the premises and any display equipment removed. We ask that competitors do not pack down any display items until the public are clear of the venue.
Vehicles cannot leave premises until show closes and the public are clear at approx. 6.15 pm on Sunday 4th March 2012

COMPETITOR RULES AND REGULATIONS
Please read the below instructions carefully
The Ardmore showdown event is first of its kind for 4 & Rotary Promotions. The event is based on demonstration of motorsports that does will be displayed through the day. Please understand that we have been given this unique opportunity, so please respect this. Rules and Regs are based on safety aspects on the day and if broken then further actions will be taken against you. This will include future participation on any 4 and rotary events throughout NZ.
DRIVERS BREIFING
There will be a drivers briefing at exactly 8.15am at the Ardmore Showdown office which we will announce over the PA system and also is allocated on the attached map. All competitors must be present at the briefing. This will be checked by a roll call and any competitor not present will not be participating, without refunds. All competitors must not be under any influence of drugs or alcohol. If suspected, you will be removed from the premises.
RACING INSTRUCTIONS
DRAG RACING
• Drag racing will be based on inter car club challenge or whoever lines up next to you. This will be heads up racing, drop flag and whoever finishes at the end first, wins.
• Scrutineering will take place on: Saturday 3rd March 3pm to 8pm or Sunday 4th March 6.30am to 8.15am
• Remember – your car must have a CURRENT REGO/WOF or TECH INSPECTION CERT to be eligible to race. Scrutineers have the final say as to whether your car is safe to race. Drivers must have a current driver’s license and be able to produce this.
• You must produce your helmet, and have the tires you are racing on fitted to the vehicle
• Competition vehicles must meet applicable safety standards.
• For all Rotary powered car owners - Your rotor MUST have an approved SCATTER SHEILD/BLANKET to be eligible to race.
• Tow vehicles will have limited access, so please ensure that all your spares are with you when you come through
DRIFTING/GYMKHANA
• Drifting/Gymkhana demo will take place throughout the day. There will be individual runs, pairs and expression session with our feature drifters. The custom made course will be revealed at the drivers briefing and will be based on a demo.
• A MNZ club sport license and proof of Motorsport NZ club membership card is required.
• All vehicles will undergo a basic safety check
• 100% Cotton Overalls, gloves and MSNZ approved crash helmet are required.
• Vehicles will require a minimum 0.9kg Fire extinguisher mounted by 2x 6mm bolts in a metal bracket, with a minimum 1 metal retaining strap. Fire extinguishers will be available to purchase at the track on the day.
• External waste gates MUST NOT be vented to the atmosphere. They must be plumbed into the exhaust system.
• If batteries have been moved from their original mounting position, then they must be in a battery box and secured by 2 metal straps and 4x 8mm bolts.
• Roll cages/half cages must be homologated by MNZ. NZDRA cages or LTSA cages do not comply unless they have been MNZ homologated.
