Did you go to school to study photography? What School?
No, it was from practice, reading, observing, asking, figuring out and critiquing to keep advancing.
What first sparked your interest in Photography?
As an eight-year-old unleashed with my parents 110 camera trying to photograph my cousin racing his off-roader.
How long have you been taking photos?
On a professional basis; for the past ten years.
How would you describe your photographic style?
Clean. I like composing a simple view that tells a dramatic story to make you stop, look and read the scene.
What’s your Favorite thing to Photograph?
Motorsport and people in outdoor scenes.
Do you prefer Digital or Film? Why?
Digital, for ease and versatility of supplying the end product.
What sort of camera equipment and software do you use?
Nikon D200 and D300, using Photoshop to crop/resize and occasionally alter light levels.
Do you have a favorite location to shoot pictures?
Anywhere – that’s the best location – capturing that fleeting candid moment to tell the story.
Do you use a MAC or PC? Why?
PC because it synchronises with my other business activities.
What has been your most memorable assignment or model to work with?
The landscape of Austria.
What advise would you give starting or aspiring photographers?
Think long and hard about what you’d like to achieve and let it come to you. If you’re relaxed it’ll show in your photo.
