4 & Rotary Jamboree - Competitor Information

Competitor Information

Want to register for this years V 4 & Rotary Jamboree then you will need to register online from the 09th December 2011... There is a new format for entering and that is that we only accept Credit card payments.

You can use a friends or a parents as long as you have there permission or you could go down to your local NZ Post shop and get a loaded prepaid credit card, or most banks now have updated the standard the eft pos card to a Visa debt card

Once you have submitted your online entry, you will then receive a system acceptance message (this is not a confirmation of entry), once your entry has been accepted and payment processed only then will a confirmation letter stating where and when you need to be at before the event will be emailed out. The letter will also give you all information about passes and registration.

This letter will be sent to all competitors by 21st of March 2012

SHOW ‘N’ SHINE COMPETITORS – Setup day

This is for all vehicles at show including lowrider and minitrucks

WHEN: Saturday 24th March
WHERE: Manfeild Motoplex, Palmerston North
TIME: 12pm - 5pm
 NOTE: Vehicles cannot leave premises until show closes at 6pm Saturday 30th January
TRACK RACING COMPETITORS
WHEN: Sunday 25th March
WHERE: Manfeild Motoplex, Palmerston North
ACCESS: 7 am - 8 am. 
You must attend a drivers briefing at 8:30 am with the first practise session on the track promptly at 9 am.

Superlap Regulations

Regulations

JURISDICTION
This is a Clubsport Basic event Single car sprint (Superlap) promoted by 4&Rotary Promotions and Motorsport Manawatu. 
It is held under the MotorSport New Zealand National Sporting Code and its Appendices and Schedules. Appendix 5, Schedule C are the Standard Regulations for ClubSport events.

VENUE
Manfeild Autocourse 3.03km circuit located at Manfeild Park, Feilding. The surface is Bitumen.
All competitors are to enter Via Rata Street entrance.

ENTRIES & FEES
Entry Fee is $85 inclusive of MSNZ levies and GST per driver.
Competitors are not required to be a member of Motorsport NZ affiliated clubs.

ELIGIBILITY & LICENCE REQUIREMENTS
i)     You do not require a licence, but if you have a MNZ licence you must produce this.
ii)    All vehicles will undergo a basic safety check
iii)   100% Cotton Overalls and MSNZ approved crash helmet required.
iv)   Vehicles will require a minimum 0.9kg Fire extinguisher mounted by 2x 6mm bolts in a metal bracket, with a minimum 1 metal retaining strap. Fire extinguishers will be available to purchase at the track on the day.
v)    External wastegates MUST NOT be vented to the atmosphere. They must be plumbed into the exhaust system.
vi)    If batteries have been moved from their original mounting position, then they must be in a battery box and secured by 2 metal straps and 4x 8mm bolts.
vii)   Rollcages/halfcages must be homologated by MNZ. NZDRA cages or LTSA cages do not comply unless they have been MNZ homologated.

CLASSES
PRO-OPEN:     No wof or reg, caged, Slicks allowed. (race cars)
PRO-STREET:     Current reg&Wof, cage, slicks allowed
STREET:    Reg and Wof, DOT tyres only. No slicks.

DOCUMENTATION, AUDIT SCRUTINEERING & DRIVERS BRIEFING
Scrutineering will start Saturday 24 March 2012, from 1pm to 4.30pm.
It can also be done on Sunday March 25 from 0700am to 0830am. We encourage as many as possible to be checked on Saturday please.
All competitors are required to complete documentation at the track before Sunday 25 March 2012 8.30am.
Make sure you bring your membership card, MNZ Licence and logbook if you have one.
You will be advised if your car needs an audit at documentation. Assume that it does and have your car ready to go as soon as you finish.
Scrutineering is in the scrutineering shed at the end of the dummy grid. Ensure the car is ready to be checked as if ready to race. Ensure your overalls and helmet are at scrutineering for checking.
Pre event scrutineering will be available and advised on 4&Rotary website.

Drivers briefing will be at 8.30am Sunday 25 March 2012, at Manfeild at the rear of the control tower.


FIRST AID & FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
The First Aid Kit and Fire Extinguishers will be at the Start Line, and Fire Extinguishers will be situated on the infield with Marshalls.

PASSENGERS
There will be no passengers for the duration of the event.

Overalls need to be 100% cotton overalls. If you have a set of overalls that read on the label 60% cotton and 40% polyester, these are not accepted and you will need to change them. Please make sure that you check your label prior to checking and you have the correct type, or you cannot compete.

Your Helmet needs to show at least one of these labels.
If it does not have these or is out of date is cannot be used.

A $30 late entry fee will be added to all entries after the 12th March 2011.


** On setup day only the Driver + 1 helper will be allowed in for free to setup your car, if you have more than 1 helper a special setup ticket and armband can be purchased from the registration table for $10.00.**

Conditions of entry:
All vehicles must be in a reasonable condition including neat and tidy presentation. Vehicles entered in the show are not permitted to start their engines or leave the halls until the event is closed. Keys must not be left in vehicle. Entrants must accept directions and decisions from all event officials, management, judges & fire wardens. No correspondence will be entered into. Judges decisions are final. Failure to comply with the conditions of entry will result in dismissal from the event and all entry entitlement canceled. No refund will be given.
Entry fee will only be refundable if entry is withdrawn in writing prior to 20th of March 2010 and an administration fee, of $10 will be retained. Behavior: all entrants must conduct themselves in a civil and well-behaved manner at all times.
Four & rotary promotions 2006 ltd reserves the right to refuse entry. Security will be in force all weekend and the police will be notified of the event. Four & Rotary Promotions Ltd officials reserve the right to discipline or disqualify any person/s who behave in an irresponsible manner. Any person/s may be held responsible for any damage to property fittings/surroundings. Entrants are not permitted to conduct any business activity including buying/selling transactions, the display or distribution of promotional materials e.g. business cards, brochures, banners, for sale or company/promotional signs. The organizers (Four & Rotary Promotions Ltd) will not be held liable for any loss, theft or damage to property, vehicle or persons resulting from the attendance of the event. The organizers (Four & Rotary Promotions Ltd) have the right to deny access to any vehicle or persons into the event if they fail to comply to the conditions of entry. The organizers (Four & Rotary Promotions Ltd) reserve the right to add or delete trophy categories or alter judging to suit each event, as they see fit. A full list of categories will be sent to each entrant in the show prior to the event.

Conditions of entry Superlap:
In exchange for being able to attend or participate in the event, (and as a condition of the purchase or issue of a competitor/spectator pass/ticket): You agree to release 4 & Rotary Promotions 2006 Limited, promoters, sponsor organisations, land owners and lessees, organisers of the event, their respective servants, officials, representatives and agents (collectively, the "Associated Entities") from all liability for your death, personal injury (including burns), psychological trauma, loss or damage (including property damage) ("harm") howsoever arising from your participation in or attendance at the event, except to the extent prohibited by law; you agree that 4 & Rotary Promotions ltd and the Associated Entities do not make any warranty, implied or express, that the event services will be provided with due care and skill or that any materials provided in connection with the services will be fit for the purpose for which they are supplied; and you agree to attend or participate in the event at your own risk.
You acknowledge that the risks associated with attending or participating in the event include the risk that you may suffer harm as a result of: motor vehicles (or parts of them) colliding with other motor vehicles, persons or property; acts of violence and other harmful acts whether intentional or inadvertent) committed by persons attending or participating in the event; and the failure or unsuitability of facilities (including grand-stands, fences and guard rails) to ensure the safety of persons or property at the event.
You acknowledge that motorsport is dangerous and that accidents causing harm can and do happen and may happen to you.
You accept the conditions of, and acknowledge the risks arising from, attending or participating in the event and being provided with the event services by 4 & Rotary Promotions 2006 Ltd and the Associated Entities.
Advertising release:
As a condition of entry, each entrant for themselves, as agent for accompanying adult and as parent or guardian for an
accompanying child, grant the event promoter, Four & Rotary Promotions Ltd - Auckland, the exclusive right to photograph, video or film, or portrayal without names or credits as the event promoter may in their absolute discretion think fit.
